We set out to create a puzzle game in a psychological horror environment. My focus was the player and more specifically who they’d play with for the duration of that game. I learned a variety of animation and modelling skills with programming in mind. The character needed to fit within the game but not blend into the environment. I loved the process of character implementation within a video game setting.
11pm Onwards is a 2.5D psychological thriller puzzle game. It is centered around gas station worker, Rima, who is finishing his shift at a desolate gas station. Players are encouraged to explore the levels to solve puzzles and find clues that help them in the next levels. In doing so, they uncover a narrative that prompts them to think deeply about the themes of the game.
