For Extra Credit, I was the Director of Photography. This role consisted of collaborating with the director to create the visual style of the film, as well as leading the camera/lighting departments to make sure our intentions were translated onto screen. I have always enjoyed cinematography and working on this film allowed me to make great leaps in terms of my technical knowledge, problem solving skills and creativity. I hope you enjoy this film as much as I did making it.

Extra Credit is a dark comedy short film that explores the unique beauty in young friendships. The story follows two teenage girls who are about to graduate and leave their dead-end town, desperate to stay together. Reckless and broke, they decide to rob their local petrol station, where unwittingly, they are the least experienced criminals in the room.
