The Feast is a horror that I took great joy in creating mood with camera and lighting techniques. When we started looking a atmospheric horror films like Kill List, Mother!, Tenebre, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Evil Dead I started developing a high contrast, high saturation, high key look that elevated the way the characters were feeling and pushed the film away from naturalism and into a supernatural space.
