My role in Trailblazers was the Lead Animator and it was my job to create and animate two-dimensional puppet rigs of all the characters in the game. I used Adobe Animate for all the drawing, animating and exporting. Trailblazers offered me the opportunity to further my 2D animation knowledge and I’m keen to continue developing my skill for future projects, as well as explore other methods of animation.
Trailblazers is a 2D mobile rpg-styled exercise game made to provide external motivation for exercise through engaging gameplay. The player begins by walking in the real world to gather steps which rewards the player with in-game cards. These cards can be engaged in-game within a Trail to collect materials, race and collect creatures and race against Trailblazer
