Smoke and Mirrors is a mystery short film that consists of the story of You, I and Us, the things ‘We” may have already experienced. As a Gaffer, I tried to establish the identity of each character by utilizing different tones of lights and colors so the each characters can have their own smells and tastes

Smoke and Mirrors was a pleasure to work on. It opens my eyes to the creative industry and has given me the ability to contribute myself to cooperation, grow work capacity, and think as a team.

As a creator I have learned, to creating great narrative storytelling through media, requires creating a ‘can do’ atmosphere on set that can be surrounding the crew.

Smoke and Mirrors is a contemporary mystery pilot episode that follows four college students; a brother, a secret lover, a friend, and a class acquaintance. Unfamiliar with one another, each individual is unexpectedly sent mysterious notes regarding the disappearance of their fellow peer, Mia Baxter. They are suddenly thrown together to uncover the secrets, betrayals and lies that have caused Mia to disappear on the night of her 21st birthday.
