We wanted to make a wholesome short film.The reason why I choose this project is because I was really drawn to the simplicity of the story, on how little changes have a big impact. As the sound recordist I recorded all sound on set and had to problem solve where to put the boom pole since the cafe was quite small.In post production I had to learn and adapt to using Protools and believe I’ve been able to create an authentic atmosphere.

Blue Cow is a slice of life short film intended for film festival submission. The story follows Ewan (60s), the overly attentive owner of the Blue Cow Cafe, as he embraces the challenge of working solo when his long-time business partner retires.
