The fashion industry excludes people with disabilities from accessing self-expression in the way that non-disabled people do. The lack of consideration for accessibility in mainstream fashion is one of the practices that deems the industry ableist. This collection deconstructs this bias through application of four universal design principles, and aims to be accessible and functional for a variety of consumers with differing abilities.
