Bachelor of Design with Honours
Blurred Species challenges the human and non-human animal binary system through fashion. The term ‘animal’ is a binary term which separates humans from all other species. By challenging this binary term through fashion design, I hope to show similarities between humans and non-human animals as a collective to deconstruct the normalized division. My collection focuses on blurring the lines and increasing empathy for farmed beings.
