Careful Hands is a collection made from repurposed second-hand materials found in the designer’s locale of Wellington. The featured original knitted garments are a study of the craftsmanship and well-being within clothing. Jess sought to gain a wider perspective from this research on what being a responsible maker means, as a process for solidifying who she is making for and why.
