The proverb “You can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear” proposes inferior materials cannot be transformed into valuable artefacts. With rummaging hands in web-ridden corners and moth-bitten boxes, I converted discarded findings into mosaics of adornment clustered with intricate eccentricity and a plethora of social values. Awarding underestimated valuables with a future past obsolescence, I aim to prove earned charm as favourable over the flatness of commodity fetishism.
