Levius Ngahuia Hitchens-Chapman

My aim for this project was to explore and understand the fashion industry, to find my niche and, what makes me genuinely excited and happy. I started exploring the post-Anthropocene and began to imagine my own utopian fashion. I really wanted to have fun with it, so I focused a lot on bright colours, bold patterns, and funky shapes. My collection is also informed by Kaupapa Māori principles that I used to critique the post-Anthropocene, this led me to create my whole collection on CLO3D. I found new alternative methods of reimagining fashion by using Māori traditions to influence my creative practice.
