Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours
My final work is a collaboration between my mother (Cenelia Reyes) and myself. We created this drawing from a distance as she is in Colombia. Making it together allowed us to reconnect after being separated and becoming a refugee in New Zealand a decade ago. An important aspect of this project is that the drawing became the vehicle to reconnect much like in the spirit of relational art practices.
