My paintings act as skins. Like skin, windows also act as a physical barrier between the inside and the outside and are almost non-existent. My paintings consider the human body and the intensity of growing up, the ideas of the public vs the private, the connection that we as humans have with the materiality that surrounds us and the memories that they evoke, while oscillating between painting and object.
