My practice revolves around understanding my identity. As a contemporary Asian artist who grew up in New Zealand, I’ve learned to comprehend and build my identity from how I relate to objects, creatures, and pop culture. Recently, this has been reflected through my affinity towards wolves and mecha. I offer through projected illustration a sense of strength and empowerment that resonates with me and honours the identity I’ve constructed.
