For the past few year my art has come from a present queer experience in a mult-complex and multi-disciplinary way. My focus throughout has been to speak of the complex nature of the queer body and the phenomenology that occurs beyond the burden of flesh into vast dimensional planes that holds both weight and fluidity. This has resulted in a noise/drone piece, constructed sounds from sounds sourced from the digital, within nature and from my own body. This work is both industrial and ethereal, toying with notions of gender through digitalised spiritualism, imaginings of the body modification and coded binaries. A sharp double ended sword, one that is beautiful and monstrous, transcendent and sheer abomination.
