Sexton Brown

Inspired by my garden, a source of solace during lockdowns, this installation has been constructed from sculpted crepe paper botanicals, collage, insect specimens and wooden cutouts.

This artwork combines my interests in natural history, entomology, Victoriana, and the influence of colonialism in our understanding of the natural world.

I create art that illuminates the fragile bonds between all lifeforms, and our connection to the living Earth.
