The project explores my textile voice by defining my emotional response through retrieving my memories of home. My practice aims to create my own textile language inspired by Chinese indigo cultures as a reflective approach that portrays my relationship with a place I call “home”. Through interweaving Chinese indigo textile languages into cyanotype printing, I can re-state a personal position in textile making with a contemporary approach.
