Master of Design
This project is about rewilding footwear. I have drawn on the Actor Network Theory and Jane Bennett’s ‘thing power’ and have also used an auto-ethnographic methodology. My mothers relationship with her wheelchair has helped me to think through how objects have agency and give us agency overall too. I am aiming to design the interaction we have not only with fashion and dress, but also between ourselves and the world we live in.
