Audiobook Engine is a piece of software designed to make the restoration of audiobooks simple and achievable for everyone. Thousands of audiobooks have only ever been released on cassette, and cassettes degrade over time. It’s vitally important that these audiobooks are digitised, otherwise they could be lost forever. Audiobook Engine is free and open-source so that anyone can take part in the preservation of these pieces of history.
