Bachelor of Commercial Music
manic pixie dream slut is an exploration of transmedia based storytelling, involving themes and issues relevant in Aotearoa's music industry. The main components of this project consist of artwork that is intended to be made into a comic book, accompanied by compositions that speak to the narrative of the comic. These components have been informed by research surrounding discussion with practitioners who are directly involved within Aotearoa's music industry.
