Walking through Wellington’s South Coast and the isolated Te Kopahou reserve, 'Echoes of the Pulse' consists of landscape photographs taken at night that engage with time. Compensating for the lack of light, the duration spent exposing the photographs intersected with a developing relationship with the wild place. The images are the result of responding to circumstances and the senses, bringing the life of the coastal landscape and the stars together.
