‘Who I am’ captures moments of youth performing their identity in Wellington 2021. The images archive the developing phase of identity exploration of my inner circle. The collaboration between myself, the camera and the subjects was determined by the subjects decision making, the natural outcomes and reactions to the camera. How people reacted to the camera was a vital element of documenting identity performance.
