A Sainsburys future of food report states that Scyphozoa (jellyfish) will be a staple food item by 2050. The Jellyfish Festival 2121 envisions a dystopic future where global warming, eutrophication and overfishing has led to Scyphozoa becoming a primary food source. This speculative project reveals how humankind’s destruction of ecologies will reshape our world.
