‘The 5 Kingdoms: Classifications of living things’ is a New Zealand-wide educational website that facilitates positive science experiences and gives both teachers and students in intermediate schools access to basic knowledge on the five kingdoms. ‘The 5 Kingdoms’ takes on one aspect of the NZ science curriculum, the living world, and works in addition to the resources available currently to promote a positive learning experience to get students engaged.
