‘Evilgorithm’ is a simulation game that educates players on how to reduce the cognitive bias caused by recommendation algorithms. In the game, the player becomes an AI recommendation algorithm that uses social engineering, big data analysis and other methods to manipulate users and profit social media platforms. Players will learn how social media can be addictive, how user privacy is stolen, how users’ cognitive biases are being exploited, and more as they play.
