‘Words Will Never Hurt Me’ draws on my personal experience growing up and living with multiple severe processing disorders (Dyslexia, Dysgraphia and Dyspraxia among others). The purpose of this project is to highlight experiences that are unfortunately very common for neurodivergent people. The central artefact is a short video that portrays primary school as a hostile environment that felt scrutinous and alien for me.
