Bachelor of Design with Honours
‘Feathers in a Twist’ is a graphic novel detailing a specific experience of an anxiety disorder by the main character, Ava. Her story is one in a series of five about experiences of depression and anxiety in a daily setting, specific to New Zealand mental health. Through illustration, I aim to show a realistic interpretation of these experiences in order to destigmatise and facilitate conversation about anxiety within New Zealand.
