‘Enunciate’ is a project that uses communication design to facilitate teachers’ understanding of speech impediment disorders, with the objective of helping children with speech impediments to feel more empowered. Children aged 5–12 years old are at a crucial stage of emotional development. During this time period, if a child is bullied or teased, it can affect them into their adolescent and adulthood years. ‘Enunciate’ aims to support and guide teachers as they build knowledge about children with speech impediments, providing a supportive environment to help those children feel more empowered and confident about their disorder. It is available to download on Apple Books.
