‘Paradaxian’ helps to build a young person's understanding of what radicalisation is through narrative-based gameplay. The online game and accompanying explanations use the adventure taken by the player as an example of what the radicalisation process is, and how rhetoric gets used in the online context. Players – having experienced and been shown the radicalising tactics in-game – now have the knowledge-base to identify radicalisation when navigating digital spaces.
