Extra Credit is a story that follows the struggles and importance that come with having strong female friendships and how they can be trialled in difficult times. I was interested in this aspect of the project as it shows the more vulnerable side to friendships and helps us understand that it's okay to be scared sometimes, we're all human and we all go through stuff, but to keep strong to what we believe in and stay close to those you care about and it will make it just that little bit easier to get to the light at the end of the tunnel.
Extra Credit is a dark comedy short film that explores the unique beauty in young friendships. The story follows two teenage girls who are about to graduate and leave their dead-end town, desperate to stay together. Reckless and broke, they decide to rob their local petrol station, where unwittingly, they are the least experienced criminals in the room.
