The premise and aesthetic of the project piqued my interest and made me want to sign up for Function. I love the various ages of technology and by being the art department of the short film allowed me to have a hand in designing the subtle ways our film would be interpreted.
Function is a sci-fi drama short film about a scientist named Adrian who values his work over his family. When he finds himself in a parallel world where his family is dead, he must find a way back home or live in a world where his loved ones are gone. The film explores betrayal and the consequences of choosing your work over the ones you love.
