Function is a sci-fi drama short film about a father who focuses too much on his work rather than his family and this seemed like an enjoyable project to work on. Due to it being a sci-fi short film, I had loads of freedom as a sound designer to experiment which I enjoyed very much.

Function is a sci-fi drama short film about a scientist named Adrian who values his work over his family. When he finds himself in a parallel world where his family is dead, he must find a way back home or live in a world where his loved ones are gone. The film explores betrayal and the consequences of choosing your work over the ones you love.
