For this project, I was inspired to create a short film that showed off the unique beauty and challenges of young friendships. As the Co-writer and Director, my job was to be the creative conductor for our story. A large part of my role was to collaborate with my teammates to bring the script through the pre-production process and all the way to the final export.

Extra Credit is a dark comedy short film that explores the unique beauty in young friendships. The story follows two teenage girls who are about to graduate and leave their dead-end town, desperate to stay together. Reckless and broke, they decide to rob their local petrol station, where unwittingly, they are the least experienced criminals in the room.
