As a street photographer, I believe the city is telling its own stories every day, which I listen to and record with my camera. I am relatively skilled in black-white photography.
In addition to street photography, I am also competent in portrait photography in studios. In an elective course in the second year, I was lucky to come into contact with photography in studios, from which I gained certain knowledge and an understanding of lighting.
Meanwhile, I can also take pictures of still life. This photos were not taken in a professional studio, for it is also my interest and pursuit to take better pictures with common resources around me in daily life as far as possible.

Our project aims at publicizing and promoting pasifika culture and history. As I’ve liked watching documentaries and learning historical knowledge since my childhood and this project is just what I am interested in. As a DOP of the team, I am responsible for camera stand arrangement and lighting design. Thanks to previous knowledge and online education, I get well acquainted with the characteristics of the instruments and more lighting combinations.
Fau is a 35-45 minute live stream pilot talk show episode with an aim to discuss, empower and inform the Pasifika community about topics relevant in today’s time and age. In Samoan, Fau can mean to create and build and that’s what our aim for the show is, to build and create a platform for young Pasifika adults to discuss, inform, empower, debate, show real action and find real solutions for issues and problems facing our Pasifika community.
